Banco Santander's last-minute notice to these Spaniards: this changes everything

Banco Santander has announced a unique opportunity for thousands of young Spaniards. In collaboration with the prestigious University of Pennsylvania, the banking entity launches the second edition of the Curso Santander | USA Summer Experience – Penn. A course that offers up to 90 subsidized spots to study English in the United States during the next summer.

This course is designed to provide young people between 18 and 30 years old, residing in 13 countries, including Spain, the chance to improve their English proficiency. It does so through a linguistic and cultural immersion experience on the University of Pennsylvania campus, located in Philadelphia.

This initiative by Banco Santander and the University of Pennsylvania doesn't require applicants to have a university degree. Nor do they need to be bank clients.

Banco Santander offers a course to learn English in the United States

The course, which will take place from July 14 to August 1, lasts three weeks. It is structured to combine English learning with the development of additional skills such as leadership, teamwork, persuasive communication, social media management, among others.

Participants will have the cost of flights to and from the United States covered. Also, the residence, as they will stay at the University of Pennsylvania, where they will be provided with accommodation and meals. A medical insurance is included to ensure the safety and well-being of the participants during their stay.

The experience of living and studying in an international environment will allow them to develop a global mindset, increase their adaptability, and strengthen their ability to work in diverse teams.

How to take advantage of this opportunity from Banco Santander

To apply for one of the 90 available spots, applicants must demonstrate a minimum English level equivalent to B1. The call will be open until April 29 through Santander Open Academy, Banco Santander's educational platform. Interested parties must complete the application form and meet the established requirements to be considered in the selection process.
