Rain of criticism for Joaquín Sánchez for what he has recently done with his daughter Salma
The former player has had behavior with one of his daughters on his reality show that has caused a stir on social media.
Joaquín Sánchez has put himself in the spotlight. All because of the latest thing he did to his daughter Salma on the show El Capitán en América.
Criticism is pouring in on social media for the former player due to the way he tried to help the young girl overcome one of her fears. He attempted a shock therapy, but the result wasn't as expected.

The unexpected behavior of Joaquín Sánchez with Salma
Joaquín Sánchez, along with his wife and daughters, stars in the reality show El Capitán en América on Antena 3. A program that follows the day-to-day of their family getaway through different corners of the United States.
During the latest episode of this format, the Sánchez-Saborido family stayed in a roadside motel. Taking advantage of the occasion, the former player decided to dress up as a clown to help Salma overcome her fear of such characters.
His wife, Susana Saborido, expressed her disagreement: “What a shame, but what are you going to do to the girl? You're going to scare her to death.” But he went ahead with his plan, arguing: “She's going to freak out, but it's the only way for the girl to overcome her fear now.”

Then, he dressed up as a clown, with his face covered, and decided to act. He took advantage of the moment when his daughters had left their room to get water and hid in the room. So, when they returned and saw him, both didn't hesitate to run out like crazy.

However, it was Salma who couldn't hold back her tears while saying: “It scares me a lot.” Finally, Susana had to come out to hug her daughter, while Joaquín took off the mask and tried to console her.

Criticism rains down on Joaquín Sánchez for what happened with Salma
This action has caused a wave of criticism on social media. Many users believe that, although Joaquín Sánchez's intention was to help his daughter, the way he did it was inappropriate. Moreover, they think it could have worsened her phobia.
Furthermore, some comments point out that this type of shock therapy can be counterproductive. So much so that it can cause additional traumas.
On the other hand, there are those who defend Joaquín, arguing that his intention was good and that, in the family and trusting context, he was seeking a solution to his daughter's fear. However, most opinions agree that there are more appropriate and less invasive methods to help someone overcome their phobias.
This incident highlights the fine line between a harmless joke and an action that can have negative emotional consequences. It's essential that, when trying to help someone overcome a fear, the possible repercussions are considered. And that it is done with empathy and respect for the feelings of the affected person.
