The young meteorologist Jorge Rey has issued a new forecast about the DANA that has arrived in Spain and, according to his estimates, will keep the rainfall active until Thursday.

Jorge Rey Reports Where the DANA Will Impact
The Valencian Community will be one of the regions most affected by this DANA. According to Jorge Rey's forecasts, in the province of Valencia, accumulated rainfall of up to 7.87 in. (200 liters per square meter) could be recorded.
However, he has urged to remain calm, referring to the DANA that arrived in October of last year. He has emphasized that it will not be as strong, but that precautions should always be taken in these meteorological factors.
This situation has led the State Meteorological Agency (AEMET) to issue yellow warnings for rain on the northern coast of Valencia, in effect from Monday to Wednesday. Updates to be made in the coming days should be followed.

Reactivation of Rainfall Due to Atlantic Storms
Rainfall will intensify due to the arrival of storms from the Atlantic, which will interact with the DANA present on the peninsula. This atmospheric combination will cause significant rain in several regions.
In the Region of Murcia, accumulations exceeding 3.54 in. (90 liters per square meter) are expected, while in the Community of Madrid, they could exceed 2.76 in. (70 liters per square meter).
Jorge Rey Marks the Day When the Rainfall Will End
According to Jorge Rey, the rain will persist abundantly throughout the week, remaining until Thursday. Despite the rainfall, a gradual rise in temperatures is anticipated throughout the week, which could mitigate the cold thermal sensation in some areas.
But that won't last too long. Jorge Rey warns about the arrival of a new front from the Atlantic on Friday. This frontal system will be joined by polar winds and significant snowfall, especially affecting mountainous areas and regions of the northern peninsula.
