It's official: Costco confirms the opening of these 4 stores in August in the U.S
Costco chain continues with its international expansion plan while strengthening its presence in the United States
The expansion pace of one of the world's most popular warehouse chains isn't slowing down. The company is moving forward with its annual growth plan, which includes opening new stores in different markets. This strategy responds to increased demand and consumers' interest in the wholesale sales model.
In August, Costco will add seven new openings to its global network. Of those, four will be in the United States, while the other three will be located in Canada and Mexico. The company has published the dates on its official "Coming Soon" page, confirming the expectations of thousands of members.

Four new stores in the United States
In the U.S. market, the new warehouses will be in strategic locations. The first will open in The Villages, Florida, on August 6. Just two days later, on August 8, it will be Richland's turn in the state of Washington.
The expansion will continue in Texas, where Costco will open a store in Allen on August 15, according to Usa Today. Finally, on August 21, it will open its doors in Spring Valley, Nevada. With these four openings, the company strengthens its presence in regions with strong population growth.
According to Gary Millerchip, the company's chief financial officer, the goal is to keep a pace of 25 to 30 new openings per year. Half of them are concentrated in the United States and the rest in international markets. The plan aims to balance expansion between local customers and consumers abroad.

International growth and recent openings
In August, there will also be openings outside the United States. The chain will open a new warehouse in Rimouski, Quebec, on August 5, and another in East Newmarket, Ontario, on the 20th. Mexico joins the list with an opening in the northern area of Guadalajara on August 7.
These additions come after a very active summer for the company. In June and July, three international openings were added: Pyeongtaek in South Korea, Malmö in Sweden, and Midland in Texas. With this, Costco has shown its ability to adapt to different markets.

The first half of the year was also full of new developments. In March and April, stores were opened in Brentwood and Highland (California), Sharon (Massachusetts), Genesee County (Michigan), Prosper and Weatherford (Texas), and Stuart (Florida). New locations were also added in Ardeer (Australia) and Minami Alps (Japan).
The chain thus keeps steady growth that responds to the strong acceptance of its business model. With more than 800 warehouses worldwide, Costco continues to strengthen its position in a highly competitive sector. Each new opening confirms the company's trust in a future of constant expansion.
