Goodbye McDonald's: Burger King launches a highly praised novelty in the United States
Burger King's new strategy that puts McDonald's in check in the competitive U.S. market
Collaborations between fast food brands and movies generate a lot of excitement. These launches attract not only children but also a broader audience. Burger King has successfully leveraged this trend to capture the attention of the American market.
Now, with the release of the live-action version of the movie How to Train Your Dragon, the famous fast food chain presents a special menu. This offering combines unique flavors with a very striking aesthetic and has already caused a great stir in the United States.

A Menu That Ignites the Dragon's Flame
Burger King is not new to this type of promotion. On previous occasions, it created themed menus for movies like Spider-Man: Across the Spider-Verse and The Addams Family. With the arrival of How to Train Your Dragon, the bet is strong and very original.
The star dish is the Dragon Flame-Grilled Whopper, which is a classic Whopper with a quarter-pound flame-grilled beef patty. What sets it apart is its red and orange streaked bun, dyed with spices and natural vegetables. It also includes American cheese, bacon, tomato, lettuce, onion, pickles, ketchup, and mayonnaise, according to All Recipes.
The menu not only includes burgers but also brings back the Fiery Dragon Mozzarella Fries, which are a spicy version of the Mozzarella Fries that Burger King launched in May 2024. The fries are coated with Calabrian chili breading and filled with melted mozzarella cheese. This appetizer was well-received and returns with a new name and the same spicy flavor.

Refreshments and Desserts That Complete the Experience
The menu includes a drink called Soaring Strawberry Lemonade, which is a strawberry lemonade made with real fruit juice. It combines the fresh taste of strawberry with the tartness of lemonade. It's perfect for accompanying meals on hot days.
For dessert, Burger King presents the Viking's Chocolate Sundae, which is an enhanced version of the Hershey's Sundae. It features vanilla ice cream, chocolate syrup, and black and green cookie pieces. This detail adds texture and a different flavor.

This special menu will arrive at Burger King locations in the United States starting May 27 and will be available for a limited time. Although it's not very advisable to bring food to the cinema, enjoying a dragon Whopper along with some spicy Mozzarella Fries seems like the perfect accompaniment to watch the movie. The release of How to Train Your Dragon is scheduled for June 13.
Additionally, Burger King's novelty coincides with the opening of Universal Epic Universe in Orlando, a theme park that promises to become a major draw for movie fans. With such offerings, the chain shows that it knows how to seize every opportunity to surprise its audience. Everything suggests that this release will leave a mark both in restaurants and on the big screen.
