The President of Ukraine, Volodymyr Zelensky, reaffirmed his country's commitment to peace this Tuesday. In a message through the social network X, the leader indicated that Ukraine is willing to sit at the negotiation table as soon as possible.

Zelensky emphasized that Ukraine doesn't want an endless war and expressed that "no one desires peace more than Ukrainians." In his message, he highlighted that both he and his team are ready to work under the leadership of the President of the United States, Donald Trump, to achieve a lasting and effective peace.

The Ukrainian President detailed that the first stages of negotiation could include the release of prisoners. Additionally, that Russia complies with a truce in the air and sea.

In his proposal, he included the prohibition of missiles, long-range drones, and attacks on civilian infrastructure. Zelensky stressed that this cessation of hostilities would depend on Russia's response.

Throughout his message, Zelensky acknowledged the importance of the United States' support for Ukraine.  In particular, he mentioned the crucial help received with the Javelin missiles, which, according to him, changed the course of the conflict. He thanked Washington's collaboration and remarked that this support has been essential in maintaining Ukraine's sovereignty and independence.

However, Zelensky also expressed criticism of the recent meeting in Washington, which, according to him, did not go as expected. Despite this, he assured that his country is willing to correct the situation and move toward more constructive future cooperation.

Regarding security and mineral agreements, Zelensky expressed that Ukraine is ready to sign these pacts. "At any time and in any format that is convenient." He emphasized that this agreement represents an important step toward greater security for Ukraine, while ensuring that, if implemented correctly, it will be effective in protecting the country.

In this context, Zelensky stressed the importance of moving quickly in all subsequent stages of negotiation. Although the conflict still persists, the Ukrainian President expressed his hope that the path to peace will be achieved with the collaboration of the United States.
