What Has Happened to Frank Cuesta and Why Has He Been Arrested in Thailand?
His ex-wife filed up to three lawsuits against him, in one of which they are asking for jail, deportation, and money.
The problems for Frank Cuesta began last year. It was then that he had to pay 167,000 euros to Yuyee for the purchase of the Sanctuary. This happened after she blackmailed him with eviction.
Those controversial lands were paid for by Frank. But the local law prevents a foreigner from owning land, and that is why they were put in Yuyee's name.

In fact, last week, Frank announced on social media that Yuyee (his ex-wife) had filed three lawsuits against him. There are three lawsuits, in one of them they are asking for jail, deportation, and money.
The three complaints against Frank:
- The first, Yuyee claims she is being victimized by a smear campaign from him.
- The second, because he allegedly didn't have the permit for one of the platforms where he streamed live.
- The third, because he supposedly has protected animals inside the Sanctuary.
After revealing these lawsuits from Yuyee, Frank Cuesta acknowledged that one of his lawyers recommended he leave Thailand.
However, everything has changed. Last Thursday night, Spanish time, Frank was arrested. The reason for this arrest is the illegal possession of 9 small-clawed otters and 1 python.
In fact, it was announced on Facebook by the "Department of National Parks, Wildlife and Plant Conservation" of Thailand.

Frank Cuesta's surroundings after his arrest in Thailand: "I'm not entirely confident, things work more strictly there."
"They have done 24-hour live streams, so it's not a sanctuary that's underground, in a warehouse, hidden, or anything like that. I'm very surprised that this persecution and this arrest are happening right now."
This is how a friend of Frank spoke on Horizonte.
"He was calm because he was complying with those requirements. It is assumed that the license he had has been revoked and he has been reported. Then the police went and conducted this raid."
"Frank has been taken to the police station and is currently sleeping there, on the floor, and the family must be bringing him food. In the coming hours, it will be known if he is released."
