Valencia positions itself at FITUR as the essential Mediterranean urban destination
Valencia seeks to be an inclusive, resilient, and attractive city for visitors from all over the world.
Valencia has presented its tourism proposal at FITUR as a benchmark in innovation, sustainability, and Mediterranean excellence. The Councilor of Tourism, Paula Llobet, led a presentation at the Comunitat Valenciana stand, highlighting the city's novelties and attractions within the ambitious "València 2025" tourism plan.
A resilient balance and an ambitious future
During her speech, Llobet highlighted the 24% growth in international visitors in 2024 despite the challenges posed by the October DANA, which temporarily affected the international perception of the city. The swift reply with the campaign "Seeing you in València warms our hearts" achieved over 300 million impacts, restoring confidence in key markets.
Looking ahead to 2025, València strengthens its tourism brand with three essential pillars:
Innovation: Incorporation of new technologies in the visitor experience.
Sustainability: Promotion of environmentally responsible practices.
New tourism products: Creation of micro-destinations and unique experiences.
Main novelties for 2025
Holy Grail Jubilee Year: Improvements in the Chapel of the Holy Grail and exclusive guided tours.

València, an inclusive and visionary tourism model

With priority markets such as the United Kingdom, Germany, Italy, the United States, Mexico, and Canada, and the development of the Strategic Tourism Plan 2025-2028, the city reinvents itself to consolidate as a leading urban destination in the Mediterranean.
"With resources, innovation, and sustainability, València invites the world to discover why 'seeing you in València warms our hearts,'" concluded Paula Llobet.
