The Serious Threats of the Islamic State to Spain: 'We Have Ordered to Kill Everyone...'
In recent weeks, the wave of terrorist attacks in Europe has increased significantly. Several European cities have been the scene of attacks, raising concerns about the reactivation of terrorist cells linked to the Islamic State (Daesh).
According to reports from Memri and various social media, a channel affiliated with this extremist organization has disseminated a propaganda poster inciting its followers to attack Spain. In which a place of worship is specifically mentioned, more precisely, they suggest a cathedral.

In the published image, a hooded individual is seen holding a dagger in front of the facade of a religious temple. The message, written in English, exhorts to commit attacks:
Make the next news yourself and show them your anger for what is happening to Muslims. Follow the steps of your brothers who preceded you and sowed fear in the hearts of the unbelievers!
This type of threat is part of the global campaign undertaken by the Islamic State against the Christian community since August 2016, when they published guidelines in their magazine Dabiq. In these documents, the extremists justify their actions by claiming it is a religious confrontation, which they consider a holy war.
The terrorist organization's messages also insist that their struggle will continue until they achieve their objectives, mentioning cities like Constantinople (now Istanbul) and Rome as symbols of their expansion. Additionally, they interpret the Quran in a radical way to legitimize the use of violence.
European authorities remain on alert in the face of these threats, reinforcing security at strategic points to prevent possible attacks and protect the population.
