This Is What the Public Thinks About the Suspected Deletion of García Ortiz's Messages
This strange coincidence hasn't gone unnoticed by the population
The Attorney General continues to be a topic of discussion. Following the latest report from the Central Operational Unit (UCO) of the Civil Guard, Álvaro García Ortiz finds himself between a rock and a hard place.
Last Monday, it was revealed that the UCO sent a new report to Supreme Court Judge Ángel Hurtado. This document confirms that the Attorney General deleted his WhatsApp messages "on two occasions" on October 16.
This date is very striking. Because it is the day when it was decided to open a case against Álvaro García Ortiz for an alleged crime of revealing secrets. Allegedly committed with the leak of confidential data about Isabel Díaz Ayuso's boyfriend.

This suspicious coincidence has not gone unnoticed, so EDATV went to ask people about this. Thus, it got to know the opinions of the population up close: "It's shameful," a woman commented to this outlet.
However, it is not the only deletion that the UCO has confirmed. They point out that García Ortiz has "recently" deleted his personal Gmail account.
According to the document accessed by the newspaper El Mundo, they explain that the recovery of data of interest has been impossible. Some data in backup copies stored in the Google Drive service.
"It has not been possible due to the deliberate deletion of the Google account associated with this service."
Despite this, the agents indicate that Google has stated that "perhaps" the content of said account can be recovered.

The Statements That Put Him Against the Ropes
The statements of witnesses and defendants in the case against García Ortiz have revealed a pattern that directly points to the Attorney General.
Pilar Rodríguez, Provincial Prosecutor of Madrid, appeared before the judge as a defendant. During her testimony, she stated: "I simply receive instructions and execute them."
Throughout her statement, she insisted that she never questioned the orders of her superior, Álvaro García Ortiz. She also admitted that she was asked to send the tax file of Ayuso's partner to an email outside the corporate domain.
"Your Honor, I don't question when I'm given an instruction. I don't question the Attorney General," Rodríguez reiterated to the judge.
Meanwhile, Diego Villafañe, a close collaborator of García Ortiz, testified before the Supreme Court. He explained that, in compliance with the "reporting" to his hierarchical superior, he compiled and sent the dossier. This with confidential information about Díaz Ayuso's partner.
