Pedro Sánchez is on everyone's lips. Last January, the President of the Government Pedro Sánchez attended the World Economic Forum in Davos. An event that took place between January 21 and 22 and for which the socialist spent 186,705.13 euros.

This has been confirmed by The Objective. To attend the event, the socialist was supposedly joined by a group of 15 advisors and trusted individuals. Additionally, several ministers and representatives from various Ibex 35 companies.

According to the Transparency portal, which the mentioned newspaper has accessed, 132,084.02 euros were allocated to transportation, while another 54,621.11 euros were used for accommodation and maintenance. This is confirmed by the media.

At the Davos Forum, the Spanish Government's representation was composed of four ministers. Carlos Cuerpo, at the head of Economy, Trade, and Business. Also Sara Aagesen, who, let's remember, assumed the portfolio of Ecological Transition and Demographic Challenge, replacing Teresa Ribera.

Alongside them, José Manuel Albares, in charge of Foreign Affairs, European Union, and Cooperation. Finally, Óscar López, Minister of Digital Transformation and Public Function, as well as a recent key figure of the PSOE in the Community of Madrid. Along with them, Pedro Sánchez traveled joined by a delegation of 15 people from his closest team.

Warning about the risk that social media represent for democracy, the president advocated for taking measures against their owners. Among his proposals, he highlighted the need to eliminate anonymity on these platforms.

Also ensuring that the so-called "tech billionaires" are legally responsible if they break the rules. Additionally, he insisted on the importance of them being held accountable to justice to prevent abuses.

The president presented himself as one of the main Western opponents to Donald Trump and what he calls the "tech caste." However, his comments were rejected by some leaders, such as the Argentine president Javier Milei, who described his speech as "regrettable."

Milei accused Sánchez of trying to "silence those who have different ideas" and of seeking to impose his own message. Additionally, he warned about the fact that the fight of political leaders for freedom "is not yet won."
