The suspicious companies of Ábalos's son that put him in the UCO's crosshairs
Ábalos's son has been summoned as a witness by the Supreme Court while the UCO investigates his assets.
The investigation of the Koldo case continues its course, while Pedro Sánchez's government insists that it is a disinformation campaign. However, the Supreme Court has charged the former Minister of Transport, José Luis Ábalos, who has been summoned to testify and is under investigation for his assets and bank accounts.
The scope of the process is not limited to Ábalos, but also includes his son, Víctor Ábalos, whose assets are being analyzed by the authorities. The case continues to develop, with new advances in the collection of evidence.
Last October, the name of the former socialist minister's son, emerged among the mentioned businessmen allegedly linked to the 'Koldo plot' broker, Víctor de Aldama.
New revelations suggest that Víctor de Aldama allegedly diverted part of the funds obtained toward companies linked to Víctor Ábalos, the son of Pedro Sánchez's former minister.

According to information published by El Español, Aldama's partners have confessed that Víctor Ábalos was part of the plot. Furthermore, they indicated that Ábalos's son, allegedly, maintains hidden assets abroad.
Additionally, the media points out that José Luis Ábalos was "grateful" to Aldama for the benefits obtained by his son. It is being investigated whether the broker gave money to Víctor Ábalos and facilitated business opportunities in Latin America thanks to his contacts.
In Spain, Víctor Ábalos is only listed as linked to two companies, External Programmes Consulting SL and Proyectos y Desarrollos Constructivos Especiales SL. Both companies are based on Humilladero Street in Madrid, in a property owned by his father. Koldo García Izaguirre and his family also resided at that address.
The first of these companies was dedicated to intermediation between companies, governments, and institutions, as well as offering advice for participating in public tenders, according to documents cited by El Español. The investigation is ongoing to clarify the extent of these alleged links.

Proyectos y Desarrollos Constructivos Especiales SL, formerly known as Reva Facility Services SL, was dedicated to the "construction of residential buildings". According to the specialized portal Informa, this company closed its registration sheet in November 2023.
The majority shareholder was Jorge Sanchis Cuquerella, former advisor and former head of accounting at the real estate company Llanera. The same one that went into bankruptcy in 2007 with a debt of 700 million euros.
Sanchis Cuquerella was charged with fraudulent bankruptcy and asset stripping in the Llanera case. Another of his companies, Deritesa Inversiones SL, was also part of the shareholding of Proyectos y Desarrollos Constructivos Especiales SL. This company shared administration with Ábalos's son and was domiciled in the former minister's residence in Madrid.
