The Patriots Summit in Madrid Strengthens the Sovereigntist Alliance
More than 2,000 people attended the Summit organized by Vox
Santiago Abascal, leader of Vox, has advocated for the fight against illegal immigration at an event in Madrid. During his speech, he assured that Spain will once again be "the wall of Europe."
He highlighted that the country played a key role in history and will continue to do so. The event brought together European leaders in the Spanish capital.
Among the attendees were Viktor Orbán, Marine Le Pen, and Matteo Salvini. More than 2,000 people attended the gathering organized by Vox.

In his address, Abascal criticized the policies of the Government and the European Union. He denounced "socialist laws" that, according to him, impose ideologies contrary to Spain.
He accused the Brussels institutions of funding these measures with "billions." He also attacked "abusive" taxes that affect citizens.
He argued that this money is used to impose "ideological nonsense." He called for halting the advance of what he considers a threat to European culture.
The leader of Vox distanced himself from foreign influences in his speech. Although he recognized Donald Trump as an ally, he made a clear distinction. "We are patriots, we don't seek a savior in a foreign nation," he stated.
Abascal defended the union of Patriots across Europe. He pointed out that fighting separately is neither an effective nor useful strategy. He proposed "reaching out to allies" and setting aside minor differences.
Viktor Orbán, Prime Minister of Hungary, praised Abascal's role. He promised to support him in the fight against Brussels's policies. "Europe is invaded by illegal immigrants," he denounced in his address.
Marine Le Pen called for a "Reconquest" to regain national sovereignty. She criticized the EU's policies and their impact on member countries. "The European Union imposes rules that don't represent Europeans," she stated.

Matteo Salvini, leader of the Italian League, launched similar criticisms. He asserted that "Europe is not the cage they built in Brussels." He denounced the control of supranational institutions over states.
During the event, Salvini and Ventura bid farewell to Pedro Sánchez with a "farewell." Javier Milei, President of Argentina, appeared by surprise at the event. He greeted the attendees but avoided mentioning the Spanish head of government.
The summit concluded with a message of unity among the attending leaders. They agreed to continue working together for a sovereigntist model in Europe. The meeting made clear their commitment to a strong alliance against Brussels.
