Senate Already Studies Consequences for Koldo's Wife After Not Appearing
Patricia Úriz has refused to comply with the parliamentary summons scheduled for this morning.
The former partner of Koldo García Izaguirre, former advisor to José Luis Ábalos, Patricia Úriz, has decided not to appear this Thursday before the Senate Investigation Committee. Despite being summoned to testify as part of the so-called Operation Delorme.
It should be noted that Koldo's wife is also implicated in the PSOE case, investigated by the National Court. The decision not to attend could have consequences. She may have committed an offense under Article 502.1 of the Penal Code by not attending her summons.

According to El Debate, the Senate Board will refer this situation to the Prosecutor's Office. All to consider the opening of a formal investigation.
From the People's Party, which holds the majority in the Upper House and leads the Commission, they have warned about the possible legal consequences. Although there are no precedents for a similar case, as noted by the president of the body, Eloy Suárez, Úriz's refusal has caused a tense debate in the Senate. Meanwhile, PSOE representatives have requested that she be given another opportunity to attend on another date.

Koldo's Gun Permit That the Civil Guard Considers Revoking
This Thursday is proving to be, at the very least, full of updates in the Koldo case. After Ábalos's statement, following which Anticorruption has requested the passport be withdrawn, the Civil Guard is considering another decision.
The General Directorate of the Civil Guard is evaluating the possibility of rejecting the renewal of the gun permit requested by Koldo. Koldo, remember, is one of the main suspects in the case that bears his name. This case is related to the alleged collection of commissions in the purchase of masks during the pandemic and has implicated several ministries.
Koldo submitted his application to renew the license for the use of shotguns. Both hunting and rifled barrel rifles at the Arms and Explosives Intervention of the Civil Guard barracks in Benidorm.
The Civil Guard notes in a report dated February 3, accessed by Europa Press, their concern. After analyzing his background and conduct reports reflecting judicial and police records. The Civil Guard states:
"It could propose the denial of the requested gun license renewals, by virtue of the conferred powers." However, he has been granted a period of 15 days to present documentation, justifications, or arguments in his defense.
It is worth noting that Koldo García already had a criminal record before the so-called 'Koldo case' became public. During his time as a security guard in Pamplona, he was involved in a case of assault on a minor, for which he was fined. Despite this, at that time he had no problems obtaining the renewal of his gun permit.
