Sánchez's government spends almost 1 million euros on ambulances for Morocco
Sánchez donated ten ambulances on behalf of the Spanish Government to the Ministry of the Interior of Morocco.
The Government of Pedro Sánchez has approved the donation of ten ambulances to the Ministry of the Interior of Morocco, an initiative that represents an investment close to 900,000 euros (approximately 990,000 dollars). This measure is part of a bilateral cooperation plan aimed at strengthening the control of irregular immigration and improving border security between both countries.
The delivery of these vehicles is part of the EUTF-NOA-MA-05 program. It is an international initiative endowed with 44 million euros (approximately 48.4 million dollars) that seeks to strengthen Morocco's capacity in managing its maritime borders. Also, in optimizing the rescue of migrants at sea.
With this initiative, paid with the public money of Spanish taxpayers, Sánchez's Government continues to increase public spending in collaboration with the neighbor. The same country that doesn't have money for ambulances but does for strengthening its army. Morocco takes advantage of Spain's public money just weeks before a new military acquisition.

Moreover, this unfortunate program aims to ensure that these operations are carried out in accordance with international human rights standards.
The ten ambulances donated by the Spanish Government to the Ministry of the Interior of Morocco will play a key role in improving the reply to maritime emergencies. With the aim of allowing faster and more effective medical assistance in critical situations. This logistical reinforcement seeks to optimize rescue operations and contribute to saving lives at sea.
In addition to the health sector, the initiative is part of efforts to strengthen the fight against irregular immigration and human trafficking. Challenges that remain a priority at the international level.

Alert in Spain over Morocco's new military acquisition
Morocco has caused concern in the international community by investing in the acquisition of 24 AH-64E Apache Guardian attack helicopters from Boeing. This agreement, signed at the end of 2019, is valued at 4.250 billion dollars (approximately 4.150 billion euros).
The purchase includes an option to add 12 additional units. With this move, Morocco becomes the first operator of the Apache model in North Africa.
The manufacturing process of these helicopters began on November 13, 2023, with an estimated duration of one year per unit. Although the base cost of a standard Apache is around 35 million euros (approximately 38.5 million dollars), the version acquired by Morocco amounts to 115 million euros (approximately 126.5 million dollars). This high price is due to the inclusion of advanced weapon systems, radars, training, spare parts, additional engines, and simulators.
Morocco's interest in strengthening its fleet of attack helicopters has been reflected in the first leaked images of the Moroccan Apaches, shared on Reddit. Users posted photographs of three aircraft parked at the Midland/Odessa airfield, Texas. According to information provided by Boeing, deliveries have already begun, and two helicopters have been identified with the numbers 2403 and 2404.
It is suspected that these helicopters were transported from Boeing's factory in Mesa, Arizona, to Texas. From there, they will be shipped on cargo planes and transported by sea to Morocco.
The purchase of these helicopters represents a significant strategic shift in Morocco's air military capability. Marking a qualitative leap in its offensive power.
The government of Morocco has been quick to highlight the importance of this achievement. Through the official account of the Royal Armed Forces of Morocco, the arrival of the Apache Guardian was celebrated with a clear message. "The most powerful attack helicopter in the world is being delivered to Morocco."
