Revolt Infiltrates March 8 to Denounce Feminism and Islamism's Complicity
Revuelta argues that radical feminism has chosen to whitewash Islamism
The Youth Organization Revuelta Infiltrated the Feminist March on March 8 to highlight what they consider a complicity between radical feminism and Islamism. According to the organization, this link is a way to whitewash practices they consider oppressive to women, such as religious submission in some Islamic contexts.
At the demonstration, members of Revuelta dressed as Islamic women and carried banners with pro-Islamic slogans. Their intention was to show what they interpret as the contradiction between the values of modern feminism and the practices of some branches of Islam that treat women as objects and subjugate them to a series of strict norms.

Revuelta argues that radical feminism has chosen to whitewash Islamism, a religion that mistreats women and uses them in many of its contexts.
The Organization Warns That This Type of Ideology Is Being Promoted in Spanish Neighborhoods. Where it is feared that women may fall into a kind of submission under Islamic religious demands, contravening the ideals of equality and freedom that feminism defends.
In contrast to the message of equality preached by feminism, Revuelta maintains that this movement is ignoring, and even accepting, practices that perpetuate the oppression of women under Islam.

Islamic Feminism Is One of the Organization's Points of Criticism. Currently, They Describe This Phenomenon as a "Trojan Horse" that facilitates the entry of Muslim essentialism into Europe.
While feminism promotes values of freedom, equality, and human rights, Islam in its most conservative form contradicts those principles. Therefore, it becomes incompatible with a democratic and secular society.
Revuelta maintains that Islam is completely "insoluble" in ideologies like democracy, feminism, and human rights.

It is evident that Islam and Western democracies are not compatible due to essential differences in their social and political structures. Additionally, feminists who support Islam in their struggles do not realize that Islamic societies have not developed the historical, economic, and social conditions that make the existence of a democratic state possible.
