Koldo's Brother's Revelation Before the Supreme Court Contradicts Jésica's Statement
He assured that the young woman was hired by the public company by its own decision and that it wasn't under his responsibility.
Joseba García, brother of Koldo García, stated this Tuesday in the Supreme Court that he had nothing to do with the hiring of Jésica Rodríguez at Ineco. He asserted that the young woman was hired by the public company by its own decision and that it was not under his responsibility. Legal sources indicated that, although he saw Rodríguez at the headquarters on two occasions, there was no evidence that she worked there.
In his statement, Joseba García explained that Jésica Rodríguez was hired at Ineco, a public company attached to the Ministry of Transport, without him having any influence in the process. Contrary to what was stated by Koldo García and Rodríguez, who claimed that it was Koldo's brother who facilitated the hiring. Joseba denied his direct involvement in the process.

Joseba also referred to the trips to the Dominican Republic, for which he had been accused of using them to receive kickbacks from a corruption scheme. However, he clarified that these trips were personal and not related to any illicit activity.
Meanwhile, Jésica Rodríguez had previously stated that she had an interview with Joseba García, during which she told him about her professional background. But she never received a clear response about her hiring. The young woman, who acknowledged having been hired at Ineco and Tragsatec, admitted that she never showed up to work, despite being paid during her time at both companies.
According to THE OBJECTIVE, sources from Ineco corroborated that Joseba García signed Rodríguez's work reports, which was pointed out by the UCO of the Civil Guard. The public company alleged that the young woman did not fulfill her work responsibilities, but her remuneration was maintained.
Jésica Rodríguez was included in several official trips of the Ministry of Transport, despite not performing any work at Ineco. Additionally, it was discovered that the young woman lived in a top-level penthouse in Madrid, whose rent was paid by the scheme linked to Koldo García.

According to the UCO, the rent of the apartment, located in Plaza de España in Madrid, amounted to 88,000 euros during the period between March 2019 and September 2021. The monthly rent was 2,700 euros, and the payments were managed by several partners, including Koldo García's brother. Additionally, it was indicated that it was the latter who sent the rent payment claims to Aldama, who according to the UCO was responsible for paying the amount.
The case has caused great attention due to the involvement of Jésica Rodríguez, who acknowledged having a personal relationship with Ábalos. In her statement, Rodríguez insisted that she chose the penthouse near the university and the PSOE headquarters in Ferraz because she liked it.
