Two Police Officers Charged

Last July 8, the Students Filed the Complaint Against the Police Officers, Alleging Crimes of "Coercion, Threats, Document Falsification, and Illegal Detention." These Events Allegedly Occurred on June 27 While the Police Were Taking Their Statements. According to the Students' Lawyers, the Officers Had Conducted an Investigation on Them for Six Months Without Informing the Judge or Having Judicial Supervision.

On the Other Hand, the Mexican Students Interning in the Musical Have Returned to Mexico Without Appearing Before the Judge as Witnesses. According to Sources Close to Europa Press, "They Completed Their Training Period as Planned and Are Now Preparing for the Premiere of Malinche in Mexico Early Next Year."

These Same Sources Indicated That the Interns Were "Willing and Available" to Testify in Defense of Nacho Cano Until the Day of Their Departure. However, the Statement, Scheduled for August 29 in the Investigative Court Number 19 of Madrid, Was Suspended.
