The New Revelation From Complutense About Begoña Gómez and Moncloa's Director
Cristina Álvarez is against the ropes in the 'Begoña Gómez case'
The 'Begoña Gómez Case' remains at the center of the debate. Last Wednesday, the director of Moncloa and advisor to Begoña Gómez, Cristina Álvarez, testified as a defendant in the Plaza de Castilla Courts. But it wasn't Álvarez who made the revelation, it was Juan Carlos Doadrio.
The former vice-rector of the Complutense University of Madrid spoke about some tasks that the director of Moncloa performed for Begoña Gómez, wife of Pedro Sánchez. It is important to emphasize that the wife of the Prime Minister is doubly charged with four alleged crimes. In his statement before the magistrate, Doadrio asserted that it was Cristina Álvarez who managed Begoña Gómez's email.
Moncloa Advisor Had Access to Begoña Gómez's Email at Complutense
Cristina Álvarez, Director of Programs of the Presidency of the Government and personal assistant to Begoña Gómez, had access to the email of the wife of President Pedro Sánchez at Complutense. This fact reinforces her role in managing the activities of the chair that Gómez directed, despite holding a position funded by Moncloa.

During his appearance at the investigation commission of the Madrid Assembly, Juan Carlos Doadrio provided several explanations. He detailed how the chair was created and the role Begoña Gómez had in the process. According to his account, he initially received several emails from Gómez but was soon instructed by Cristina Álvarez to communicate directly with her.
Doadrio explained that Álvarez asked him to write to her address because she had difficulties accessing and reviewing Gómez's email. This revelation raised questions from the spokesperson of the People's Party, Mercedes Zarzalejo, who wanted to clarify if it was the institutional email of the Complutense University. In response to the inquiry, Doadrio confirmed that it was the account to which Álvarez had access.
