New twist in the Koldo case: UCO focuses on Jéssica, Ábalos's friend
The Supreme Court focuses on the close circle of the former minister of Pedro Sánchez
This Monday, Supreme Court magistrate Leopoldo Puente dealt a heavy blow to former socialist minister José Luis Ábalos. The judge has requested the Civil Guard to investigate the assets of Ábalos and his son, Víctor Ábalos. In addition to this, he has summoned both to testify, the former as a defendant and the latter as a witness.
But this hasn't been the only person close to Ábalos implicated in magistrate Puente's investigation. It involves the close friend of former minister Pedro Sánchez, the young Jéssica Rodríguez García, who has come under the spotlight of the Supreme Court magistrate's investigation.

The Supreme Court requests the identification of those responsible for hiring Jéssica in public companies. As we told you, the Supreme Court has ordered the identification of the people who managed the hiring of Jéssica, "close friend" of former minister José Luis Ábalos, in two public companies. Initially, she obtained a position at Ineco and later at Tragsatec.
This request is part of the ongoing investigation into alleged irregularities linked to the management of public resources during Ábalos's time in the Government. In addition to this, the judge has also summoned Jéssica Rodríguez García as a witness.
Ábalos's son in the crosshairs of the UCO: the Supreme Court asks to investigate his assets
The 'Koldo case' continues to progress while Pedro Sánchez's Government keeps claiming that it's all a hoax from the "mud machine." But the truth is that the man who was number two in the PSOE has been charged by the Supreme Court, has been summoned, and his assets and account are being investigated. But the investigation doesn't end with José Luis Ábalos, Sánchez's former minister, as it extends to his son, Víctor Ábalos.
As we told you, the son of the former socialist minister is under investigation by the Central Operational Unit of the Civil Guard. This, at the request of the Supreme Court magistrate handling the case, Leopoldo Puente. The judge has requested a report as soon as possible on the economic situation of Ábalos and his son.

The order establishes that the UCO must gather, as quickly as possible, information obtained through open sources. The analysis will include bank accounts, deposits, and real estate or vehicles registered in their name. Additionally, it will investigate their possible involvement in companies, whether as administrators, partners, or shareholders.
This measure is part of the investigation against the former minister, which examines alleged crimes related to corruption and emergency contracts during the pandemic.
Meanwhile, Víctor Ábalos has been summoned as a witness in the case affecting his father. The summons for Ábalos's son will be between February 25 and March 5.
