The new figure of Begoña Gómez's bank accounts revealed

This fact led the instructor to request a new review from the financial entities.

Begoña Gómez is still in the spotlight. The Court of Instruction Number 41 has received a report from BBVA detailing several bank accounts in the name of Begoña Gómez. According to the document, the wife of the Prime Minister holds seven accounts that, together, accumulate a total balance of 21,034 euros.

This is confirmed by Vozpópuli. Thus, the information initially associated with Begoña has undergone changes. Recall that Pedro Sánchez's wife claimed she only had a total of 40 euros in the investigated bank accounts.

As explained by the media, the judge was informed in November about the error by the bank. This followed a prior notification from the defense attorney who brought it to their attention.

This led the instructor to request a new review from the financial entities. The aim was to accurately determine the real balance of Begoña Gómez's accounts.

According to the information sent by the Judicial Neutral Point, most of the accounts showed a balance of 0 euros. The total accumulated reached only 40.10 euros in 11 identified accounts. Shortly after, Begoña Gómez's defense notified the instructor that this data was incorrect.

"Both in terms of the identification of the accounts of which she is the holder, since accounts appear that are not currently in her name. Especially regarding the balances, since it is completely untrue that these accounts almost all have a balance of 0."

"Incomplete" List

Initially, Judge Juan Carlos Peinado received an "incomplete" list of eleven bank accounts in which Gómez appears. The information provided by the Judicial Neutral Point shows that only two of those accounts have a balance. A total of 40.25 euros is perceived, while the others are empty.

This investigation covers a period from December 2019 to November 2024 and was requested on November 19 by the Court of Instruction Number 41 of Madrid.

The judge had ordered the judicial police to check all current accounts in which Begoña Gómez appeared as the holder. The report details that Gómez appears as the holder in five accounts, as authorized in two, and as a representative in four. Of the two accounts with a balance, one has 40.10 euros and the other only 0.15 euros, the rest of the accounts are at zero.
