Mompó Oversees the Reconstruction of La Fallereta Bridge in Turís

The President of the Diputació de València, Vicent Mompó, has visited the emergency works for the reconstruction of the bridge over the Magro River in Turís, which is key for connecting the Altury and La Cañada developments with the urban center. Accompanied by Mayor Ismael Corell, Mompó highlighted that the flood multiplied the river's flow, rendering the infrastructure unusable. The new construction, with a budget exceeding two million euros, will double the length of the original bridge and widen it to adapt to the new road project.

"The speed with which the works are progressing demonstrates our commitment to the recovery of the provincial road network," Mompó stated. The Roads Deputy, Reme Mazzolari, reported that the forecast is to open the road to traffic in May, facilitating access for more than 800 residents in the area. The mayor emphasized the importance of the work, as the lack of this passage forces residents to take detours of up to an hour for their daily comspeechlesss.

Works in Montserrat

Subsequently, Mompó traveled to Montserrat, where he visited, along with Mayor Sergio Vilar, the actions taken after the flood. The Diputació intervened immediately on the CV-416, a road that was destroyed and is now practically rebuilt.

Additionally, the president inspected the site of the future duplication of the CV-405, a 33.5 million euro project that will improve access and intersections to increase road safety. "We work on emergencies without neglecting long-term planning," Mompó stated.

The mayor thanked the support of the Diputació, highlighting that the damages in Montserrat amount to 22 million euros. He requested new investments for the reconstruction of the sports center and the recreational area of the reservoir, as well as improvements in the exit of the ravine toward the CV-405.

Montserrat has 1,744,563 euros in the Pla Obert d’Inversions 24/27, with a 20% increase compared to the previous period.
