The Mediterranean Epic MTB Establishes Castellón as a Cycling Reference

The Mediterranean Epic MTB has once again put Castellón on the map of international cycling, establishing itself as one of the most prestigious events on the global sports calendar. The president of the Castellón Provincial Council, Marta Barrachina, has played a key role in this success, promoting the event's international projection and highlighting its importance as a driver of tourism and sports promotion for the province.

Barrachina, who gave the starting signal for the fourth and final stage in Oropesa del Mar, has closely followed the competition, highlighting the "titanic effort" of the cyclists to complete the 35 mi. (56 kilometers) of a technical and demanding course. "Each participant has demonstrated not only their physical endurance but also an unwavering passion for mountain biking, which makes this event a top-level sports spectacle," she emphasized.

Thanks to impeccable organization and institutional support led by the Provincial Council, the Mediterranean Epic MTB has attracted elite cyclists and thousands of fans, consolidating Castellón as a privileged destination for outdoor sports. Barrachina has highlighted that "this event is not just a competition but an exceptional platform to showcase to the world the natural wealth of our province, capable of combining sea and mountain in a unique environment."
