Mazón Promotes Administrative Simplification With Public-Private Collaboration
The head of the Consell has defended the need for an agile and efficient administration that doesn't treat the citizen or entrepreneur 'as a presumed guilty party'
The president of the Generalitat, Carlos Mazón, has highlighted that the Consell continues to advance in administrative simplification with the implementation of the Decree of Collaborative Certification Entities and Authorized Bodies, a pioneering initiative that will streamline procedures and facilitate the economic and social development of the Valencian Community.
Mazón has emphasized that this measure strengthens public-private collaboration to "improve activity and service, making us more competitive, closer, and faster." As he explained, the new regulation allows business associations and professional colleges to verify documentation before submission, avoiding corrections and reducing the average resolution time of administrative procedures by 30%.
The head of the Consell has defended the need for an agile and efficient administration that doesn't treat the citizen or entrepreneur "as a presumed guilty party" and that bets on trust and responsible declaration, which translates into a positive administrative silence.
The decree also introduces the figure of Authorized Bodies, which will allow associations and administrative managers to act as a link between citizens and the administration, facilitating the fulfillment of bureaucratic requirements for freelancers, small businesses, and citizens.
Additionally, Mazón has highlighted the incorporation of municipalities into the simplification process to accelerate daily procedures and improve citizens' lives. "We want a Generalitat that facilitates job creation and economic activity generation, eliminating unnecessary obstacles," he stated.
With the entry into force of this decree, the Valencian Community becomes the first Spanish region to implement this model, which is added to the Business Channel and Law 6/2024 of Administrative Simplification within the Simplify Plan, promoted by the Consell of Change and Recovery.
