The unusual date on which Sánchez's brother's opera was extended

The operas of Sánchez's brother and his project take a new turn. This house already reported that the Legislature de Badajoz expanded the Young Opera of Sánchez's brother.

It has been revealed that the Legislature will indeed continue with the opera project of Sánchez's brother. It does so despite the judicial process that focuses on the creation of his job position. The Court of Instruction number 3 of the province is investigating whether his access to the Legislature of Badajoz in 2017 as Conservatories Coordinator was legal.

In total, the administration offers 373,125 euros (308,367 without VAT) broken down in 2025 and 2026 to contract future works. According to the newspaper El Independiente, this amount, in 2025, 151,859 euros will be allocated to the main opera. Meanwhile, 28,925 will be for the children's-family opera and another 8,264 for educational activities, totaling 189,049 for this year.

However, the project expansion was signed on July 18 of last year by José María S. S., from the central services of Culture, Sports, and Youth. That same day, the investigating judge sent UCO agents of the Armed Institute for the second time to search the offices of the Legislature de Badajoz.

The judge authorized UCO to return to the public offices after detecting "computer errors" in the dumping of emails from the account of Pedro Sánchez's brother. The truth is that UCO didn't find content in part of the investigated time period.

The Civil Guard itself asked the judge to download the musician's emails again to analyze them correctly. In the document, the magistrate authorized a "new seizure of the emails that, through his corporate account, David Sánchez might have maintained, from its creation to the present."

Complaints about Sánchez's brother's chaotic preparation in his opera debut

Sánchez's brother is making headlines again. New emails seized at the request of Judge Biedma point to complications in the debut of Sánchez's brother's Young Opera project in 2019.

The truth is that complaints also appear from the artistic agency ACM Concerts. Initially, it wrote to David Sánchez in September 2019. The staging was at the López de Ayala theater in the city of Badajoz, of the opera "The Elixir of Love," by Gaetano Donizetti.

Well, in that first email, the agency asks Sánchez's brother to coordinate with the stage director.

"The issues related to planning should be discussed with us." Since the artists trust that all this information "is properly processed, centralized, and safeguarded in the agency. Given that many times, their commitments require all their attention and concentration."

In the context of this debut, the artist representation agency expresses its dissatisfaction. "By the way, and sorry for mentioning this, but the part corresponding to the Legislature has been chaotic to unimaginable limits."

It adds: "I would like you, to the extent of your possibilities, to keep an eye on this matter." Specifically, it laments the treatment of the soprano, who travels with her two small children. For this reason, the agency had requested that instead of a hotel for her stay in Badajoz, she be provided "an apartment with a kitchen, extra bed, and crib."

However, the agency maintained that this was still not guaranteed, something of vital importance.

Meanwhile, Sánchez's brother replied: "Don't worry, I'll be alert. Thanks. A hug."

In fact, as the technical specifications convey, the complexity of the "The Elixir of Love" production required the presence of numerous professionals and resources.

For this reason, "the necessary administration, management, and execution elements" were contracted for a total of 35,375 euros. This meant the largest amount, 19,315 euros, was taken up by administrative management.
