The Costa Blanca dazzles in Madrid with an innovative street marketing action
Alicante Provincial Council's President, Toni Pérez, inaugurated the event
Plaza del Callao in Madrid became a vibrant showcase of the Costa Blanca yesterday afternoon, thanks to an original street marketing action promoted by the Provincial Tourism Board as part of FITUR 2025. The proposal, called "Costa Blanca Technological Space," aims to attract the attention of the Madrid public to the region's multiple tourist attractions.
The president of the Alicante Provincial Council, Toni Pérez, inaugurated the event, joined by vice presidents Ana Serna and Marina Sáez, as well as provincial deputies and representatives of Alicante municipalities. For three days, this innovative space will offer visual experiences and interactive activities to promote Costa Blanca tourism.
The core of the proposal is a large cube of LED screens where promotional videos are projected, and presentations, parades, and live performances are organized. Additionally, the space includes activities like a photo booth, animations, and the distribution of promotional material, providing attendees with an immersive experience.
Toni Pérez highlighted the importance of this format:
"In this edition of FITUR, we take to the streets to bring our tourist offerings closer to the thousands of passersby in Plaza del Callao. We bet on experiences and emotions as a way to generate impact and connect directly with the public."
Among the tourist proposals to be promoted are:
Les Fogueres de Sant Joan
The Torrevieja Carnival
Holy Week in Calp and Crevillent
Moors and Christians of Elda, Sax, Benissa, and Xixona
The gastronomy of Santa Pola and its salt industry
The L'Alfàs del Pi Film Festival
Popular festivals like those of Sant Vicent del Raspeig or the Chupinazo of Catral
The action will be active from Wednesday, January 22, until noon on Friday, January 24, turning Plaza del Callao into a meeting point between Madrid and the Costa Blanca.
