The Confession of Adif's Former President That Directly Points to Ábalos

Isabel Pardo de Vera has changed her strategy in the Supreme Court to point to the former minister for asking to hire

Ana Pardo de Vera's sister, Isabel, testified in the Supreme Court. The truth is that the former president of Adif has changed her strategy before the Supreme Court. She directly pointed to the former Minister of Transport, José Luis Ábalos, and his closest advisor, Koldo García Izaguirre.

During her intervention in the Senate parliamentary commission investigating the possible political implications of the plot, it was different. In the corruption case led by Víctor de Aldama and linked to the Ministry of Transport, Pardo de Vera avoided acknowledging irregularities.

However, this Wednesday, when testifying before the judge handling the case, she stated the opposite. She claimed that both Ábalos and Koldo explicitly asked her how administrative staff could be hired at Ineco.

It is worth noting that Ineco is a company dependent on the Ministry of Transport. The former partner of the then minister and Koldo García's brother ended up being hired there. The latter, it has been pointed out, facilitated the young woman's incorporation into the company.

However, Joseba, the advisor's brother, denied any involvement in this process during his testimony before the court. According to his version, he was contacted directly by Ineco, where he worked, to inform him about a new available resource.

It turned out to be Jésica, assigned as an administrative assistant under his supervision. He claimed that he met her at the company itself, explained to her how to prepare a security report. He narrated that after that, he didn't hear anything more about her or her job performance.

Despite not having requested her hiring, he acknowledged having seen her in person at least twice within the entity's facilities.

Koldo's Brother's Statement on Jésica's Lack of Computer Skills

Joseba García, Koldo García's brother, tried to distance himself from Jésica's hiring. However, some of his statements support the young woman's version. In the fact that, despite having been employed for almost three years in two public companies linked to the Ministry of Transport, she never performed work functions.

During his appearance before the Supreme Court judge in the context of the 'Koldo case,' García explained:

"I called her on the phone, we met in the office, and it was then that I realized she has no computer skills."

The Crime Anticorruption Points to in the Koldo Case Over Jésica's Apartment

The Koldo case continues to reveal new information. The Anticorruption Prosecutor's Office directly points to the plot for an alleged bribery offense, due to the use of an apartment by Jésica. Which would have been financed by people close to businessman Víctor de Aldama.

Additionally, Ábalos's stay in a chalet in La Alcaidesa (Cádiz) during a summer is being investigated. It also focuses on the alleged cash delivery to his former advisor, Koldo García.

The chief prosecutor, Alejandro Luzón, has detailed these facts in a report sent to the Supreme Court in the context of the 'Koldo case.' His writing responds to the appeal filed by Ábalos, who requested the removal of the precautionary measures that prevent him from leaving Spain. The same ones that require him to appear every 15 days in court and involve the withdrawal of his passport.
