The Casa de la Mujer de Alcobendas presents its annual program of courses and workshops

The Casa de la Mujer in Alcobendas has presented its program of Courses and Workshops for 2025, with the registration period already open for the activities of the first quarter. Both registered and non-registered individuals can access this educational offer.

The activities are organized into four major thematic areas, addressing aspects such as improving job search, promoting equality, self-care and emotional health, as well as common legal questions. Additionally, courses are included to enhance artistic skills and activities focused on topics like bullying, the evolution of traditional roles, and respect for diversity.

More initiatives and resources available

Throughout the year, the Casa de la Mujer will also offer conferences, colloquiums, exhibitions, and cultural outings. Among its proposals are the Women's Health School, the María Cañizares Garrido Garden, and the Women's Entrepreneurship Project Empléate Mujer.

As every year, special events will be organized around March 8, International Women's Day, and November 25, International Day for the Elimination of Violence against Women.

Meanwhile, the Municipal Point of the Regional Observatory of Gender Violence will continue to operate, along with various initiatives for prevention, awareness, and training in equality and gender violence.
