Aldama claims that WhatsApp messages from government members have disappeared

The businessman has submitted a document to the courts in reply to the PSOE's request to 'send him to prison'

Víctor De Aldama once again puts the Government of Pedro Sánchez against the ropes. In a document sent to the courts of instruction number 5, which EDATV has accessed, he responds to the PSOE. All this after Sánchez's party requested to imprison Aldama.

In the document, in one of the sections, Aldama's interest in continuing to collaborate with Justice is shown. He also assures that a terminal "contains relevant information both for the clarification of the facts referred to in this procedure".

The document continues with the content of the devices:

"In particular, the aforementioned device contains a wide list of contacts. Even with members of the current Government, Chiefs of Staff, or heads of public companies, with whom WhatsApp communications of interest were maintained".

However, he assures that there are specific WhatsApps he can't access that are related to members of the Government.

"After an initial analysis, although relevant data is already available, it will be necessary for us to be provided with the iPhone terminals". The same ones that were seized to "be able to perform new dumps of part, having appreciated, according to a forensic expert report, that some of the WhatsApp replys from Government members."

Aldama assures that this is not the case with other interlocutors. Meanwhile, with Government contacts, they appear with a message of "the security code has changed". Something that "prevents access to its content".

Aldama responds to the PSOE's request

In Aldama and his defense's opinion, the PSOE's request to send him to prison presents "an unequivocal coercive and intimidating content". All after pointing out in the document that "the PSOE, since the release, initiated a campaign of defamation and discredit against Mr. Víctor Aldama. And promoted several actions, such as the request for a license to proceed for crimes of slander".

The PSOE trembles for Aldama and asks the judge to send him to prison

The PSOE closes ranks around Pedro Sánchez. This time it is Aldama who puts Pedro Sánchez against the ropes, and his party knows it. So much so that, although they asked that the parties not be part of the popular accusations, they now request prison for Aldama.

Specifically, they urge Judge Pedraz for "the provisional imprisonment" of the businessman. All due to "the risk posed to the success of the investigation" while he remains free.

According to a document reported by Europa Press, the socialists ask Judge Pedraz to send Aldama to jail. According to them, "to prevent the concealment, alteration, or destruction of sources of evidence relevant to the prosecution".

According to the socialists: "The reasons that sponsored this release in the present procedure by a statement of the investigated given in another case have been defrauded. The supposed collaboration with justice offered by Víctor de Aldama was a fallacy. His accusations directed at third parties haven't been corroborated with evidence".

Sánchez's party fears that "the maneuvers of the investigated, once released, to traffic with case documentation". All because Aldama left in the custody of Luis Alberto Escolano, his trusted man, "sensitive documentation" related to the Venezuelan public company PDVSA.
