Why have they arrested Michael Jordan's son?

Marcus Jordan, son of Michael Jordan, was arrested in Florida

Marcus Jordan, son of the iconic basketball player Michael Jordan, was arrested early Tuesday morning in Orange County, Florida, according to TMZ. The incident occurred after authorities spotted Marcus's Lamborghini SUV parked on a railway track. This, with visible damage to the bumper and rocks raised near the vehicle, indicated that he had unsuccessfully tried to escape the area.

Officers suspected that Jordan had evaded a nearby traffic stop, but he explained that he had accidentally veered off and needed help getting his car off the tracks. However, the officers noticed clear signs of intoxication: a strong smell of alcohol, slurred speech, bloodshot eyes, and drowsiness.

Despite initially being reluctant to cooperate, Marcus Jordan agreed to exit the vehicle. In his statement, he admitted to having consumed alcohol during a visit to a nightclub. But he assured that his blood alcohol level was below the legal limit.

Jordan was subjected to three breathalyzer tests, which he failed to pass, leading to his arrest for driving under the influence. Additionally, during the search, police found a white powdery substance in his pocket, which later tested positive for cocaine.

Police reported that Marcus Jordan, son of the famous former basketball player Michael Jordan, showed a combative attitude when attempting to be transported to the patrol car after his arrest. According to the officers, the young man, once inside the police vehicle, was "singing throughout the ride" to the nearest jail. Upon being detained, he refused to provide breath samples for the breathalyzer test.

Regarding his personal life, he was recently linked to Nicole Murphy, ex-wife of actor Eddie Murphy, 56 years old. Before that, he had an on-and-off relationship with Larsa Pippen for a period of two years.
