Last-minute Warning From Jorge Rey for Today in These Specific Areas
Spain on alert for rain all week: Jorge Rey warns about the most affected areas this Wednesday
Meteorological instability continues to be a protagonist in Spain these days, with rains affecting a large part of the country. However, the concern is focused on those areas where the precipitation may be more intense and persistent.
Jorge Rey has issued an important warning for today, highlighting the regions that could suffer the most problems due to the storm.

The Most Intense Storms Hit the Eastern Peninsula
Jorge Rey's predictions indicate that the Valencian Community will be one of the most affected points by the rains. Heavy storms are expected in Castellón, Valencia, and Alicante, which could cause significant water accumulations in a few hours.
The situation will be especially complicated in the interior of the community, where the precipitation could be more persistent and cause problems on roads and urban areas.
In the Region of Murcia, the storm will also be felt intensely, according to Jorge Rey. The rains could be strong at some moments of the day, increasing the risk of flooding in ravines and dry riverbeds, as has already happened in previous days.

The accumulation of water in the southeastern peninsula is one of the most concerning aspects of the storm. In some points, the precipitation has been continuous for several days.
The Storm Extends to More Regions
Although the bulk of the most intense rains will be concentrated in the eastern peninsula, Jorge Rey warns other areas of the country that will also be under the influence of this instability. Significant precipitation is expected in Madrid, Badajoz, Málaga, Valladolid, and León. Although in these places, the storms are not expected to reach the virulence they could have in the Valencian Community and Murcia.

The rest of the country will experience a day marked by cloudy skies and isolated showers. However, there are exceptions: in the Cantabrian region, there will be practically no rain, and in the Canary Islands, although there will be some cloudiness, the precipitation will be weak and of no major relevance.
Risks and Precautions Against the Storm
Meteorological authorities and emergency services have insisted on the need to exercise extreme caution in areas where heavy rains are expected. The main concern is the accumulation of water in a short period of time.
Special attention should be paid to territories near riverbeds, as the flow of rivers and ravines could increase rapidly. Additionally, the soils are already saturated in many points due to the rains of previous days.
