CaixaBank Special Announcement: You're Still on Time, Do It Right Now Without Delay
CaixaBank launches the 3rd edition of its program for agri-food startups with a strong commitment to digitalization
Innovation and digitalization have become essential pillars for the evolution of the agri-food sector. It is a constantly transforming field that seeks to improve its efficiency and sustainability.
Aware of these challenges, CaixaBank has launched the 3rd AgroBank Tech Digital INNovation startup call. It has done so through its AgroBank business line.

CaixaBank has confirmed that interested startups can register until March 10. This program not only offers financial support; it also provides specialized training and access to advanced technologies. Thus, it will allow emerging companies to develop, test, and improve their solutions before launching them to the market.
With this initiative, CaixaBank aims to consolidate its role as a reference entity in promoting the transformation of the agri-food sector. This way, it favors the development of new technologies applied to agriculture, livestock, and food production.
CaixaBank Strengthens Its Commitment to the Agri-Food Sector
The CaixaBank program is designed to address the main challenges facing the sector today. In this edition, five key areas have been defined where startups should focus their proposals to provide innovative solutions.

Precision agriculture is one of the central points. Emphasis is also placed on sustainability and the circular economy. Projects that reduce environmental impact through more efficient water and energy use systems are encouraged.
The modernization of packaging, storage, and logistics is also a priority. All with the aim of improving product preservation and ensuring their distribution in optimal conditions.
The program pays special attention to the digitalization of sales and marketing processes. One of the objectives is also to promote the development of new e-commerce platforms. Thus, agricultural products can be brought to more markets.

Finally, the automation of processes related to transformation, traceability, and food safety is promoted. This way, the agri-food sector is expected to advance toward a more technological and competitive model.
A Program with Exclusive Benefits for Startups
Selected companies will have access to resources that will allow them to accelerate the development of their solutions and test their viability in a real environment. CaixaBank has designed a training program in collaboration with EAE Business School. Startups will receive specialized advice there to optimize their business models.
Additionally, they will be able to access a digital twin. It is an advanced tool that will allow them to simulate and monitor their operations in real-time. Thus, they can anticipate potential problems before the definitive implementation of their solutions.

Participating startups will also have the opportunity to conduct proof of concept in real environments. This will allow them to validate their innovations before their commercial launch. Through AgroBank Hub, the entity's digital ecosystem, they can connect with already established agri-food companies.
AgroBank, a Benchmark in the Transformation of the Rural World
