Vodafone's Latest Doesn't Quite Convince: They Feel They're Being Taken for a Ride

The operator's family promotion has raised eyebrows, as most won't have access to that offer.

Vodafone has just announced a very attractive offer that has caused quite a stir among its customers. This promotion allows enjoying a 600 Mbps fiber connection and four mobile lines for just 55 euros per month. At first glance, it seems like a top-level offer, especially for new customers.

However, it has sparked many complaints among the company's current users. They feel that this proposal puts them at a disadvantage.

Vodafone's offer, which is mainly aimed at attracting new customers, has caused some commotion. Many complain that, despite being loyal customers of the company, they have to pay much more for a similar service. This is the case of a user who, through the social network X, expressed his frustration.

"A lifetime with Vodafone and the package costs me more," he indicated angrily. He also recalled that the company increases its prices annually and that he did not accept the permanence conditions with pleasure. "If we have some absurd permanence, our fee can't be reviewed until expiration," he pointed out.

Vodafone Should Treat Everyone Equally

The comments of discontent have not been long in coming. Especially from those who already have a package similar to the promotional offer but are paying much more. A user commented that "I have the same" as the announced offer, "plus two TV decoders and I pay 121 euros."

This type of comparison is causing discomfort among users, who feel treated unequally. Amid so many complaints, Vodafone has wanted to give its explanation. The company assures that promotions are made "personalized" and are updated periodically.

In other words, the offer of 55 euros per month would not be the same for all users, as each customer has their own plan and conditions. In other words, they are trying to say that the offers are flexible, but many of their customers are not convinced. They don't see the reason why they should pay more than new users, especially when they enjoy an almost identical service.

What Can Vodafone Do to Solve the Situation?

For many users, the solution lies in offering fairer conditions for their current customers. Either by matching or improving the offers given to new users.

It would be advisable for Vodafone to rethink its pricing strategy and reconsider the rates and promotions. So that all its customers feel equally valued. Otherwise, it is likely that the loyalty of many of its users will be compromised.
