"I wasn't fired, what happened was something simpler and plainer. Something that happens to many people that has six letters: cancer," Escaleto confessed with tears in his eyes.

Additionally, he wanted to share with everyone how he realized he had the disease: "I was showering and saw a lump on a testicle, I didn't think much of it. Days later I realized it was still there, even getting bigger. I never thought it would be cancer."

Escaleto detailed the moment he went to the doctor: "I went to my primary care doctor. He said it needed to be checked. They did an ultrasound and the next day, live on air, I received the ultrasound report and saw it during a commercial break," he explained.

"They had detected a mass suspected of malignancy. When they tell you that, you realize it doesn't look good."

After the diagnosis, he faced the disease with courage: "It's tough, but it's not something that gets solved just like that. They operated on me, analyzed the tumor and said it was a cancer with a good prognosis. I went through chemo cycles," he shared.
