Miranda Rijnsburger and Julio Iglesias Take the Final Step: In Spain and with a Lawyer
Julio Iglesias made an important decision years ago that has meant a big change for Miranda Rijnsburger
Miranda Rijnsburger and Julio Iglesias have once again become the center of attention due to the latest and unexpected information that has emerged about their marriage. As confirmed with the help of his lawyer, the singer has put all his Spanish assets in his wife's name.
In recent days, the artist's health has once again been one of the most recurring topics for the media. All this after the statements made by Carlos Herrera just a few days ago.

For this reason, Julio Iglesias had no choice but to step out of the discreet background he has kept over the years to speak out about it. He did so through the magazine ¡Hola!:
"62 years ago, a benign tumor formed on my back that affected my dorsal nervous system and my legs. I was operated on for that tumor in 1963, and a year and a half later, I was fully recovered.[...]I'm happy here in the Bahamas with my wife."
Now, as a result of these statements, the unexpected decision Julio Iglesias made some time ago regarding his assets in Spain has come to light. As it has emerged, the singer has entrusted the management of all his properties to Miranda Rijnsburger.
Julio Iglesias Entrusts His Wife, Miranda Rijnsburger, with the Management of All His Assets in Spain
If there is something that reflects the trust in this marriage, it is the fact that Julio Iglesias has left the management of all his Spanish assets in his wife's hands.
In fact, Miranda Rijnsburger owns a large amount of land, including the grounds where the iconic Cuatro Lunas estate is located, in Málaga. This property spans approximately 370 acres (150 hectares) of land, spread between the municipalities of Marbella and Ojén.

Additionally, as it has emerged, this property is owned by two companies managed by Julio Iglesias's wife: Androsemo SL and Bellevue Costa del Sol SL.
The two real estate promotion companies present a relatively stable economic situation. The first closed 2023 with losses of 170,000 euros and assets exceeding five million.
Meanwhile, Bellevue Costa del Sol ended 2022, the last year for which data is available, with minimal losses and assets valued at about 4.6 million euros.

It was in 2007 when Miranda Rijnsburger officially began managing all of Julio Iglesias's assets in Spain. A decision that coincided with the closure of the singer's real estate phase in the Valencian Community.
In November 2000, the Spanish artist founded the company Urcosa SL with Andrés Ballester, Fernando Polanco, and José Lladró, responsible for the development of Villa Gadea. This exclusive development in Altea (Alicante) included 262 chalets and a five-star hotel.
A project in which Julio Iglesias invested 16 million euros. Later came other major urban projects, such as a large-scale development in Parcent and the Los Puentes de Algar project in Altea.
At that time, Julio Iglesias maintained a close relationship with Eduardo Zaplana, who had signed him as a promotional image for the Valencian Community. However, neither his political career nor his real estate businesses prospered.
In 2006, Miranda Rijnsburger's husband decided to withdraw from the Valencian market, selling all his real estate assets to Grupo Bataller, one of his main partners.
Since then, he hasn't invested in Spain again. So much so that, currently, most of his assets are in the Bahamas, the Dominican Republic, and Miami.
