Meghan Markle was right: Charles III receives an unexpected blow within his family
An unexpected revelation puts the Royal Palace in a difficult position and reopens old wounds that seemed to be closed
The experiences of those who've been close to the Windsors rarely fade away completely. Some reappear with stories that put the royal family back at the center of debate. Each appearance rekindles media interest and public attention.
Although Charles III and his relatives try to keep their personal lives out of the spotlight, the task isn't easy. Apparently, the testimonies that've resurfaced would be proving Meghan Markle's reasons for distancing herself from royalty. Controversy takes over the Royal Palace once again.

Secret life testimonies in Charles III's family
Lady Gabriella Windsor is the daughter of Prince Michael of Kent, first cousin of Queen Elizabeth II and, therefore, cousin of Charles III. She belongs to the most discreet circle of the British royal family. Despite trying to keep a low public profile, her personal life has been marked by episodes that've made headlines.
Aatish Taseer, Lady Gabriella's ex-partner from 20 years ago, has revived controversies that seemed buried. He did so during his appearance on the podcast "Tell Me About Your Father." There, he spoke again about the article he published in Vanity Fair.
In that text, he revealed intimate experiences with Gabriella and her family, including scenes like swimming naked in the Buckingham pool or drug use at Windsor. But the main focus was on the attitudes he attributed to Princess Michael of Kent. "If she weren't so racist, she'd be really marketable," he said about her.

Meghan Markle, did she know or suspect it?
One of the strongest accusations was about the two black sheep named Venus and Serena, referring to the Williams sisters. This detail caused a stir at the time and now returns with force. This fact became known shortly before Meghan Markle, a friend of Serena, married Prince Harry.
The context further fueled suspicions of racism within the royal family. Serena Williams's presence at the ceremony and her encounter with Princess Michael created more tension. Until now, the issue had remained in the background.

The royal family in another book
Now, Taseer is working on a novel inspired by his story with Gabriella Windsor. Although it's presented as a work of fiction, it includes real names and recognizable situations. Among them are references to Diana of Wales and Princess Margaret.
The Daily Mail reported in advance that the book also includes real quotes from his article and public episodes such as the one Princess Michael experienced at a New York restaurant. There, she allegedly asked some African American diners to return to the colonies.
Taseer's words and memories have brought back to the center of debate a controversy that never really closed. This time, with more resonance than before.
