Mary of Denmark ignores Frederik and shows her courage: there are images

Mary of Denmark shows her authenticity and courage, making it clear that she has great transformative power

When all eyes are on the members of the royal family, people do so not only to observe their official role, but also to see how they live their lives. Mary of Denmark and Frederik are always at the center of the media's attention. But without a doubt, Mary stands out for her blend of sophistication and courage, as well as her attitude in facing every moment.

This week, the queen attended the Global Fashion Summit in Copenhagen, a very important event on the fashion calendar. Mary showed once again her ability to reinvent herself, recycling a well-known garment and giving it a fresh and modern twist.

The power of recycling: Mary goes for a transformed outfit

Mary chose for the occasion a gray linen set from the spring/summer 2024 collection by MKDT Studio. This suit, which includes a jacket and Bermuda shorts, was worn for the first time this year in April 2025 during her visit to France. Although she had already worn it in August 2024 at the Olympic Games in Paris, the look this time appeared completely renewed.

The key to this change was the use of a different belt and shoes. Instead of wearing the thin belt that originally comes with the jacket, the queen chose a wide, two-tone braided belt by Zimmermann. This detail transformed the outfit, giving it a more relaxed and modern vibe, ideal for spring in Copenhagen.

Accessories that make a difference

Mary's shoes were also different at this event; instead of the burgundy boots she chose in Paris, this time she wore light brown suede shoes by Gianvito Rossi. With a 3.3 in. (8.5 cm) heel, these shoes, which she wore for the first time in 2017, added a more summery touch to the outfit. She moved away from the darker and more formal tones she had worn before.

Mary's jewelry was also a key detail in her look. She brought back the Delphis earrings by Dulong, which she has worn since 2019, and paired her outfit with an impressive 18-karat yellow gold ring by Ole Lynggaard, which she debuted in 2015. This ring from the Leaves collection stands out for its timeless elegance.

There is no doubt that Mary of Denmark is committed to reusing garments. She uses strategies that never fail because it always seems like she is wearing them for the first time.
