Kate Middleton accepts it: the problem with William is more serious than expected

Kate and William are facing harsh criticism over a family decision, and a heated public debate has erupted

Prince William and Kate Middleton's life is permanently at the center of public scrutiny. From their official engagements to their most private moments, any detail of their personal life can become a public controversy. The decisions of the Prince and Princess of Wales are no exception, as they are constantly observed by those who closely follow their every move.

This constant monitoring of their daily life reflects the fascination caused by royalty, but also the pressure of having to meet expectations. Even the most everyday decisions, such as sharing a family photo, can trigger unexpected debates, especially when they involve social or ethical issues.

Prince William sparks controversy over a litter of puppies

On June 21, Prince William celebrated his 43rd birthday in a special way. There were graphic documents that have caused a stir.

The royal family shared a photo of him posing with his dog Orla and her puppies. However, this photo was criticized by Peta, who accused Kate and William of contributing to animal overpopulation.

Elisa Allen, Peta's vice president, was direct in her condemnation of the action. In an interview with The Telegraph, she commented, "They must know that shelters here and around the world are overflowing with puppies desperate for a second chance in a loving home."

She also suggested that William could follow the example of King Charles III and Camilla. The monarchs adopted a shelter animal instead of allowing their pet to have a litter.

Peta's defense and political criticism

The controversy didn't end there, since some British politicians decided to intervene. Andrew Rosindell, Conservative MP, strongly criticized Peta. He considered that the organization was more focused on political protests than on the real welfare of animals.

The MP added: "It's completely wrong for an extremist organization like Peta to receive the tax advantages granted to a charitable organization."

Peta replied by reaffirming their mission to reduce animal suffering. They also highlighted their fight against the use of animal-derived products in the fashion industry. Their success in banning cosmetic testing on animals in Europe was also mentioned.
