Juan Carlos I and his friend, Pedro Campos, don't hide it: the big decision has already been made
Juan Carlos I and his friend, Pedro Campos, have made a major decision that confirms how both of them are doing
King Emeritus Juan Carlos I has returned to Spain and went back to Sanxenxo last Monday. As on other occasions, he has stayed at his friend Pedro Campos's house, but this time he has surprised everyone. He hasn't been seen as in previous visits.
Despite the controversy over the recently published memoirs of Bárbara Rey, the emeritus has chosen discretion. He has avoided Real Club Náutico for now and hasn't started training. Even so, he has confirmed his participation in the weekend's regattas.

He has decided that he'll return to the helm of "El Bribón." At 87 years old, he keeps showing that he still has a competitive spirit. Although his mobility is limited, he hasn't lost his drive.
Juan Carlos I and Pedro Campos make a very important decision
During these days, Juan Carlos has stayed at Campos's home because he has barely gone out. However, he has received visitors, and some close friends have stopped by the house. Everything suggests that a family member will arrive soon: There has been talk of Infanta Elena and also Infanta Margarita.
Apart from nautical activities, the king has enjoyed Galician cuisine. As in every visit to Sanxenxo, seafood hasn't been missing. A truck from a well-known local seafood restaurant has arrived and brought a selection of fish and shellfish, all fresh.

Juan Carlos and Pedro Campos haven't hidden it and have shown their fondness for Galician seafood. They have shared meals in private, without cameras, unrushed, and in good company.
The arrival of the truck hasn't gone unnoticed. It has been the definitive sign, the big decision has already been made, and both have agreed to repeat this gesture at every visit of the emeritus. They don't want to improvise, they want to make sure they get the best seafood, and they've found in this formula the ideal way to celebrate their reunion.
Juan Carlos I is spending some peaceful days with Pedro Campos
Meanwhile, rumors keep growing. There has been speculation about a possible permanent move of Juan Carlos to Portugal.

There have been conversations, and he has looked for properties near Estoril or Cascais. He needs privacy. He also needs security, but for now, his refuge is in Sanxenxo.
There, with Pedro Campos, he has found peace again. He has enjoyed the sea, tasted seafood, and made it clear that, despite everything, he doesn't give up his passions. Nor his habits.
