Isabel Gemio reveals several details about her experience on the show "Bake Off: Celebrities in the Oven"
A few days ago, Isabel Gemio revealed in one of her interviews what happened when the cameras of Bake Off: famosos al horno were turned off. As the host assured, during the show's recordings she felt very "cared for" by the team and her colleagues.
After a lifetime dedicated to the world of communication, this renowned journalist has made the leap to television talent shows. It was on January 12 when we could see her for the first time wearing the apron of the new season of this well-known culinary format.
However, although we have seen her very committed during the first broadcast, in her interview for El Confidencial, she assured that they "convinced" her to take this important step:
"I'm in this show because they've convinced me... I don't know how, but they have. I suppose I said yes because of the moment they offered it to me. Due to my personal, family circumstances, and my life in general, it was good for me mentally and psychologically."
Nevertheless, Isabel Gemio wanted to make it very clear that she doesn't "regret" the decision she made at all. So much so that she even described this experience as "therapeutic."
At this point, the host shared with the aforementioned media outlet everything that happened when the cameras of the format were turned off. "They've taken care of me, I've received many hugs," she stated emphatically.
Isabel Gemio Reveals Everything That Happens behind the Scenes of Bake Off Additionally, Isabel Gemio had no qualms about revealing what happened during one of the toughest recording days of her time on Bake Off: famosos al horno.
"The day I had an anxiety attack, my colleagues' hugs touched my soul. They've all helped me overcome difficult moments. I'm happy and grateful," the communicator assured.
| On the other hand, Isabel Gemio also wanted to talk about the complexity experienced within this well-known format of La 1. Because, unlike what many might think, competing in Bake Off: famosos al horno is not an easy task:
"This show is very difficult, let no one think that Bake Off is easy. However, it's true that it's beautiful, pure, positive, it has something magical... I accepted because I just had to be myself, there was no controversy, I didn't have to fight with anyone."
Additionally, Isabel Gemio had no qualms about stating that this experience has been quite a "challenge" for her. Despite being used to sets and the unpredictability of live broadcasts, she had never collaborated on anything like this.
Finally, the journalist wanted to comment on all the work that takes place behind the scenes of Bake Off: famosos al horno. At that moment, she revealed one of the things that has been most difficult for her: delegating tasks to the team.
"Without knowing how I'm lit, without controlling anything... As vain as I am. You're, in some way, at the mercy of the producer, the director, the editor[...]We've recorded a lot, with endless days. They picked us up at 5:30 AM and we returned home at 6:00 PM."
