Important Notice From Banco Sabadell to Thousands of Customers: Confirmed, There's Already a Date

Banco Sabadell announces the payment date for unemployment benefits corresponding to March 2025

With the arrival of March, thousands of unemployed people in Spain eagerly await the deposit of their unemployment benefits for this month. However, it should be noted that the State Public Employment Service (SEPE) establishes that these payments are made between the 10th and 15th of each month.

It is true, though, that some banks choose to advance these payments to benefit their customers. In this context, Banco Sabadell has confirmed that it will make the payment of benefits on March 10. This way, it coincides with the official date established by SEPE.

Banco Sabadell Maintains Official Payment Date

In Spain, SEPE is the body responsible for managing and paying unemployment benefits. According to current regulations, these payments are made between the 10th and 15th of each month. However, many banks choose to advance these payments as a measure of loyalty and support for their customers.

But unlike other entities that advance the deposit of benefits, Banco Sabadell has decided to maintain the official payment date. This means that their customers will receive the deposit of their unemployment benefits on the upcoming March 10. This decision aligns with current regulations and ensures that beneficiaries receive their payments promptly and securely.

Meanwhile Banco Sabadell maintains the official date, others have opted to advance the payment of unemployment benefits. For example, Banco Santander and Openbank have announced that their customers will receive the deposit starting March 6.

Meanwhile, Unicaja, Bankinter, BBVA, CaixaBank, Cajamar, Cajasur, and Ibercaja will make the payments one day later, on March 7. These initiatives aim to provide greater liquidity to beneficiaries in the early days of the month.

It is essential for unemployment benefit recipients to be informed about the payment dates established by their respective banks. Knowing this information allows for better financial planning and avoids potential setbacks in managing personal financial resources.

Additionally, being aware of the deposit dates helps beneficiaries coordinate the payment of their financial obligations and organize their monthly expenses more efficiently. It is advised to regularly review official communications from the bank and SEPE to stay informed of any updates or changes in payment dates.
