The ruling that could condemn Movistar: users say enough, they can't stand it anymore

A few days ago many customers had trouble accessing several websites and even some applications

Movistar is going through a small rough patch. The company's users have begun to show their discontent after a technical failure that affected many people. It also lasted for almost 24 hours.

This setback has not only highlighted the company's lack of technical control. It has also raised serious doubts about the quality of its service.

The incident, which began to be reported on Sunday and continued until Monday, left Movistar users unable to access several pages. Particularly those that use Cloudflare's services in their free version. These services are widely used by thousands of pages worldwide, so the failure affected many sites.

However, the most concerning issue was not just the inability to access those websites. There were also cases where Movistar's own users couldn't access their own pages.

A problem that affected Movistar and O2

The most curious aspect of this situation is that the problem only affected users trying to access these pages through Movistar's fiber. If they used their mobile connection, they could enter without any issues. This detail makes it clear that the failure was related to the company's fiber optic service.

But the incident didn't only affect the operator's customers. O2, Movistar's secondary firm, also suffered the consequences of this failure. In fact, many users of this operator reported the same type of problem.

This suggests that the error could be related to the shared infrastructure between both companies. In any case, this is not an isolated case for Telefónica's company. Just a few days ago, users also reported issues when trying to access the Telegram app.

The failure wasn't as widespread as this past week's. But it's a sign that technical problems in Movistar's services are starting to become more frequent. However, so far the company hasn't provided clear explanations about the causes of these failures or the measures they will take.

Users, fed up with this situation, demand immediate answers and solutions. Many consider that the company isn't doing enough to ensure the stability and quality of its network. Complaints have multiplied on social media, and the discontent is palpable.

Nobody understands so many failures in Movistar

The lack of transparency and repeated incidents have put Movistar in a difficult situation. It's not the first time the company faces large-scale technical problems. But what's at stake now is the trust of its users.

This failure has exposed a serious weakness in the operator's infrastructure. For many, the company is losing its leadership in the telecommunications sector. The widespread discontent could lead many users to consider other options.
