Buckingham Palace no longer silences Charles III's new status: it seems official
Charles III faces new family and health challenges, and now much more is known about his current situation
With its history full of traditions and controversies, Charles III and each member of the British royal family bring their own legacy to the monarchy. King Charles III has been at the center of media attention, both because of his late rise to the throne and also due to certain situations in his life. Since he took the Crown, Charles III has faced difficult circumstances in his personal life.
The weight of the British monarchy has fallen on his shoulders and his decisions and health attract widespread interest. Other key figures in the royal family, such as Queen Consort Camilla and Prince William, are also involved in this process of change and adaptation.

Charles III's alternative treatment
In January 2024, Charles III publicly revealed that he was receiving treatment for a cancer diagnosis. This announcement surprised many, as the news was confirmed shortly after a prostate surgery. Meanwhile, Kate Middleton reported months later that her cancer was in remission after her treatment.
Charles III's case remains a topic of speculation, with little precise information about his treatment and current condition. "Fiesta" contributor Concha Calleja mentioned an alternative treatment called "Gerson therapy," which the king would be receiving.
This procedure, which includes the daily application of coffee enemas and irrigations, has no proven scientific basis, which has created uncertainty about its effectiveness. In this context, the news that the king is resorting to these methods has sparked a public debate about the management of his health.

The sovereign's prognosis and his family relationship
Royal expert Camilla Tominey, in her column for "The Telegraph," offered an analysis of Charles III's health. According to Tominey, the king will likely live with cancer for years, but it won't be the disease that leads to his death. Despite the seriousness of his condition, the monarch remains hopeful thanks to his treatment, which he follows rigorously, as has been reported.
Additionally, Tominey added that Charles III is not only dealing with his health, but also with family challenges. The king still desires a reconciliation with his younger son, Prince Harry, although for him it would be ideal for William to be present in the conversation.
"Family has always been important to the king. It's a great sadness for him not to see Archie and Lilibet more often," Tominey emphasized.
