Buckingham Palace confirms the rumors: it just happened and Camilla knew it
A confirmation at Buckingham Palace puts an end to the speculation and reveals that the Queen knew it from the beginning
Life, even for those who live in palaces, follows its own rhythm. Emotions have unwritten rules, and sometimes, the most unexpected happens far from cameras and spotlights. In royalty, secrets slip by more stealthily than anywhere else.
But nothing goes completely unnoticed. Camilla, steadfast by Charles III's side, has been much more than a queen consort: she has been a discreet witness to key moments. What has recently happened in London seems to confirm it.

Charles III takes the final step with Prince Harry
This week, Charles III's and Prince Harry's main advisers met privately. It was at the Royal Over-Seas League, a private club in London located very close to Clarence House and Buckingham Palace. According to The Mail on Sunday, "there was no formal agenda, just some informal drinks."
On Harry's behalf, Meredith Maines, his communications director, attended. She flew directly from Los Angeles, and with her was Liam Maguire, a key figure in his public relations and linked to the Invictus Games. From the King's team, Tobyn Andreae, his communications secretary, attended.
The choice of the Royal Over-Seas League was not random. The place, founded in 1910, is said to promote understanding, something that is clearly needed between Harry and Charles. In addition, the King is the club's patron. A meeting that, surely, was not outside Camilla's knowledge.

Harry and Charles III could start a new path
In May, Harry said in an interview with the BBC: "I'd love a reconciliation." He also explained that "the King doesn't want to talk to me because of this security issue," referring to the withdrawal of his police protection that was in court.
About his memoir, he was direct: "some members of my family will never forgive me for writing a book." He also made it clear that "there's no point in keeping on fighting." That phrase marked an intention to stop the distancing and move toward reconciliation.

The prince has shown signs of wanting to get closer; he invited the family to the 2027 Invictus Games in Birmingham. A source close to the meeting said: "there's a long way ahead, but for the first time in years, a channel of communication has opened." Added: "the right time has finally come for both sides to talk."
However, there has been no official statement from the Royal Palace or from Harry's representatives. Camilla, as the King's companion and support, was aware that this would happen. This discreet meeting could be the beginning of a new stage for the Windsors.
