This is how installing 1,334 solar panels with Solar360 is: close, convenient, and economical

'We have felt joined, comfortable,' explains Julio Caamaño, technical director of Reviver (Grupo GAM), the largest machinery rehabilitation plant in Europe.

Located in the province of León and at the foot of the Esla River, the largest tributary of the Duero River, Villamañan hosts the gigantic Reviver factory. A facility that covers more than 200,000 square meters (2,152,782 square feet) and has the capacity to give a new opportunity to more than 3,000 machines a year. These figures pose a challenge both for its management and for its supply and operation. Especially important is the energy aspect, after all, the machinery used by the plant is energy-intensive.

This energy need makes Reviver's commitment to self-consumption essential, both for the savings caused and as a hallmark of the company's philosophy. "Sustainability is within the strategic axes of the company. In this facility, it makes a lot of sense because it is a circular economy center and, therefore, it also makes a lot of sense for it to be energy self-sufficient," Caamaño emphasizes.

This importance led the firm to partner with Solar360. Firstly, because it is backed by two Spanish business giants like Telefónica and Repsol, which transfers great reliability. In fact, Caamaño himself points out that "the relationship with Solar360 starts with Telefónica[Reviver's technology partner]. That opens the door to greater trust and a quite direct and daily relationship." Then, the professionalism of the firm does the rest.

Caamaño highlights the good treatment by the company, which has been maintained throughout the project, as one of Solar360's virtues: "In the management in general, we have felt joined and very comfortable." They also highlighted the professionalism during the execution of the project, despite the installation of a total of 1,334 solar panels: "they have done it in a very independent way, which means it hasn't caused us too much daily stress in the execution." Besides the economic advantages, "there are obviously reasons of price and economically they have also been competitive."

The summary of Reviver's commitment to Solar360 has been completely satisfactory, both for the good work of the firm throughout the installation and for the results. "The advice is clearly to do it. For us, the experience is good," concludes Caamaño himself.

Solar360, the joint venture of Repsol and Telefónica, provides comprehensive solar energy solutions, adapting to the needs of each client. Projects like Reviver's highlight its ability to execute installations efficiently, contributing to the energy transition and improving sustainability in companies.
