Tragsa Group trusts Nutanix to transform its technological infrastructure
The company, which provides environmental services to the entire public administration, has achieved significant savings in time and energy consumption.
Grupo Tragsa has been working with Nutanix since January 2017. Tragsa's systems department needed a solution that would provide the necessary agility to offer and manage virtualization services. Therefore, it launched a technological project to find a virtualization solution that was, above all, agile. Nutanix was the only company in the market offering it at that time. Although the project initially aimed to address the virtualization challenges of the Group, over the years the company has expanded its commitment to Nutanix solutions and currently also works with others like Nutanix Files, Nutanix Cloud Manager, databases, etc.
Thanks to Nutanix technology, Grupo Tragsa has achieved great advantages in agility, simplicity, and support. The time needed to provide a solution to any of its clients (public administrations) has been significantly reduced. Previously, when it was necessary to expand any resource or storage capacity, it was necessary to acquire the new machine, provision it, and connect it. However, now the machine is already set up, and it's only necessary to automatically expand the cluster to provide the service. Additionally, Nutanix offers a unique control panel to centrally manage all tasks, which streamlines processes.
"Nutanix has always been a pioneering company, and when we started looking for the virtualization solution we needed, they were the only ones offering it. Moreover, their support service is a clearly differentiating element, undoubtedly the best we work with," says José Gerez Morata, department head in the systems management of Grupo Tragsa.
"The trust that Grupo Tragsa has been placing in us since 2017 is yet another example of what our technology can bring to the public sector: management agility, simplicity, freedom of choice, flexibility, scalability, cost reduction, and sustainability," says Jorge Vázquez, general director of Nutanix Iberia.
