Alarms go off at Kensington Palace: it's about Prince William and Charles III

The atmosphere during the parade and several troubling signs raise suspicions about the future in the palace

At major institutional events, images usually speak louder than words. The British monarchy knows that every public appearance is analyzed in detail by millions. When tensions become evident, experts are quick to give their opinion.

Charles III, his wife Camilla, and the Princes of Wales led the Trooping the Colour parade. The ceremony was solemn, but not every moment turned out as flawless as one might expect. Pilar Eyre, a royalty expert, analyzed it without filters.

Charles and Camilla, together but distant

The king presided over the parade from a carriage accompanied by Camilla, breaking with the tradition of appearing on horseback. Eyre stated that his attitude was "rigid and uncomfortable" and that he even argued with his wife. The gesture did not go unnoticed by those who closely follow their movements.

On the Buckingham balcony, the scene was even colder. The queen did not interact with the monarch's children or siblings, something Eyre considers concerning. In her view, Camilla "hasn't managed to empathize" with the king's family.

Charles also did not show affection toward his grandchildren, according to the journalist's analysis. "I didn't see any gestures of affection," she stated emphatically. She believes that for the little ones, the true grandparents are "Kate's parents."

Prince William and a gesture that causes concern

The heir to the throne did not escape Eyre's scrutiny. She observed in him a "sullen" expression and described him as a man "with little desire to be king." She added that his sense of duty seems "diminished."

She also questioned his low level of public activity in recent months. He has appeared rarely at institutional commitments and has taken several vacations. For Eyre, this behavior may begin to worry the British people.

The coldness between William and Kate during the event drew attention. The Princess of Wales had a coughing fit and sneezed on the balcony, without receiving any gesture from her husband. For the analyst, the scene reflects a certain emotional distance.

Kate and her children, the image that saves the moment

Despite the criticism, Eyre praised Kate Middleton for her poise. She considers her "the most dignified" of the entire royal group and an example of commitment. She also highlighted her tenderness with the little ones, George, Charlotte, and Louis.

The children, especially George and Louis, were described as "adorable." Eyre said she saw in them reflections of William and Harry. For her, the most genuine image of the event was Kate's carriage ride with her children: "tender, human, and real."
