Radical change at Verizon: Millions of Americans see it favorably and applaud
Verizon is firmly committed to small and medium-sized businesses, to which it grants a series of facilities
Verizon is betting big on the future. Although it has always been known for leading in technology and connectivity, it is now also standing out for its commitment to small businesses in the United States. This shift in focus has been well received by millions of Americans, especially in the business world.
In recent years, it has continued to innovate in areas like artificial intelligence and the Internet of Things (IoT). But what has surprised the most recently is its great effort to support small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs). To this end, the company announced an unprecedented investment of 5 billion dollars that will be distributed over the next five years.
This new initiative is called Small Business Supplier Accelerator. Its goal is clear: to integrate more small businesses into Verizon's supply chain. This includes businesses led by veterans and other historically underrepresented sectors.

Verizon's determined bet
But the commitment doesn't end with the financial investment. Verizon is also offering concrete support that makes a difference: shorter payment terms, more flexible contracts, and reduced insurance requirements. Everything is designed so that these businesses can move forward faster and with fewer obstacles.
Additionally, it continues to promote its free platform Small Business Digital Ready, designed to help entrepreneurs prepare digitally. Through this tool, business owners have access to more than 50 online courses. But also personalized mentoring sessions and opportunities to connect with other entrepreneurs.
One of the most striking benefits of the program is a new round of 10,000-dollar grants for small businesses participating in the platform. To apply, they only need to complete two resources within the site. The deadline to apply is June 30, 2025.

Since 2021, Verizon has already delivered more than 13.5 million dollars in grants through this program. Additionally, it has helped nearly half a million small businesses. The ultimate goal is ambitious but realistic: to reach one million supported SMEs by the year 2030.
A perfect ally for small businesses
Verizon not only continues to lead in technological innovation but is also becoming a strategic ally for small businesses. This new direction the company has taken has been very well received by the business community. But also by citizens who value a more inclusive and collaborative approach.
This radical change in Verizon's strategy is marking a new era. In it, technology, business support, and growth go hand in hand.
