Waiter demands explanations from PSOE after a judge indicts Ximo Puig's brother

The Valencian Vice President calls Diana Morant 'The Minister of Corruption'

The First Vice President of the Consell, Susana Camarero, has described it as "concerning" that a court in Valencia has indicted Francisco Puig, brother of the former president of the Generalitat Ximo Puig, for alleged fraud. She has also urged the PSPV-PSOE to use their congress next weekend to provide explanations about this case and about the legal situation of David Sánchez, brother of the Prime Minister, Pedro Sánchez.

Camarero has stated that the socialist congress "should be a space for accountability," as, in her opinion, the party "has a lot of explaining to do."

"The Socialist Party has a very serious problem with the brothers. With Pedro Sánchez's brother indicted and Ximo Puig's brother indicted for fraud, they should take advantage of this congress to clarify the legal situation of their relatives," she declared.

Criticism of Diana Morant and Pilar Bernabé

Camarero has also criticized the Minister of Science, Innovation, and Universities, Diana Morant, who leads the PSPV. She accused her of being "incompetent" and allowing alleged "corrupt practices" at the National Cancer Research Center (CNIO).

"The minister of the CNIO's corrupt practices, the one who has allowed cancer research money to be squandered on paintings or trips without doing anything," she stated.

She also pointed out that both Morant and Pilar Bernabé, the Government Delegate in the Valencian Community, compete "to see who insults more to look better with Pedro Sánchez."

In this regard, she has asked Bernabé to explain her role as co-director of Cecopi and her responsibility in coordinating the National Police, the Civil Guard, and the Army in the Valencian Community.

Call for responsibility

Finally, the Vice President of the Consell has emphasized that the socialist congress should focus on the problems of the citizens instead of political attacks.

"It's time for the PSPV to explain their management, say what they intend to do and how they will help the Valencians, instead of resorting to insults," she concluded.
