This Is the Tremendous Gift That Moncloa Gave to Sánchez's Brother's Advisor
The Presidency has confirmed that Carrero held the position of advisory member since March 2020.
Sánchez's brother remains in the spotlight. David Sánchez's advisor, Luis Carrero, has been making headlines in the media for days. This comes after it was revealed, according to Okdiario, that he acted as the musician's personal secretary, assisting him with tasks, all while continuing to work at La Moncloa.
The Presidency has confirmed that Carrero held the position of advisory board member from March 2020 to December 2023. At the end of 2023, Carrero supposedly left his position at Moncloa to join as Head of the Section of Centers and Cross-Border Activities Programs. Until then, he had held a trusted position in the Department of Analysis and Studies of the Government's Presidency Area.

According to the Presidency, he served as an advisory board member from March 2020 to December 2023, under the direction of Óscar López, Pedro Sánchez's Chief of Staff at that time. His position was at level 30, the highest within the administration, with a specific supplement of 30,314.34 euros, according to the cited media.
This rank supposedly placed him above 31 other employees in the same department. This is according to the updated Job Position List (RPT) in September 2023, when he was still part of the Moncloa team. This is confirmed by the newspaper.
The Brutal Confession of the Witnesses
The brother of the Prime Minister remains in the focus of Justice as a defendant for several alleged crimes. After the witnesses' statements in the case, he has been left against the ropes.
The witnesses told Magistrate Beatriz Biedma that they 'almost never' saw the Prime Minister's brother working in his office. Specifically, seven witnesses have a point of agreement in their statements: they did not see David Sánchez working in his office regularly.

It is important to emphasize that the Prime Minister's brother was not authorized for remote work. This complicates the musician's situation before the judge who is making rapid progress in the case.
Among those cited was violin teacher Nerses Avakimyan, who testified early in the day. During his appearance, Avakimyan admitted that he never accessed the grades after the selection process.
Despite this, the musician stated that he did not feel harmed and also doesn't remember coinciding in interviews with David Sánchez. Additionally, he explained that, according to his perception, he did not observe any irregularities in the procedure.
This is reported by the newspaper ABC.
